e-commerce, transaction- and financial data

As this site is used for paid courses and services for which we charge subscribers, we have to keep record of certain transaction- and financial data. Such data may include the date and time of purchases, products bought, quantities ordered, shipping details for invoicing and bookkeeping purposes etc.
Except for purchases via direct EFT transfers into our account which we have to verify and process manually, we use trusted third party payment processors for all payments. Users needing to make payment are directed to the payment processor’s site for the making of secure payments where after users are re-directed back to our Website for payment confirmation.
Website visitors can always refuse to supply personally-identifying information, with the caveat that it may prevent them from engaging in certain website-related activities.

This Website’s primary function is to provide tuition- and support services for medical professionals.
